D.A.W.G. Boarding specializes in boarding of dogs and dog grooming. We celebrated our 7th year in business August 21, 2010!!  Your pet will have his/her own ‘cottage’. It is a very clean homey environment. It is secure and comfortable. You can be assured your pet will receive the same pampering; love and spoiling our grandchildren receive!  We pride ourselves on keeping your pet safe and happy.

My family has always had at least one dog as a pet. We currently have three Shih tzu’s and a Flatcoated Retriever. My husband, John, daughter, Alicia, and I raised guinea pigs for approximately four years. We have also had rabbits, hamsters, birds, and fish. I would love to care/raise almost any animal but John unfortunately has a say in it too!!!

I was an active volunteer at the local humane society and currently active with Small Dog Rescue (SDR) of MN. I dreamed of opening a pet boarding facility for 7+ years. I have a passion for taking care of any animal but dogs are my favorite!! I thoroughly enjoy taking care of special needs dogs, i.e., elderly, blind, deaf, and physically disabled. I enjoy puppies too but as the years go by I really enjoy the special needs (they are a bit slower)!  John helps me out whenever the need arises and on all building repairs and other maintenance, as needed!   

D.A.W.G. Boarding is located on a blacktop road in a country setting. We have 24 hour on-site supervision. Your pet is let out to exercise a minimum of 3 times a day, usually a lot more depending on the weather. We will accommodate the usual feeding time for your pet. Outside runs are 6x12 with 4 larger fenced play areas with a 6’ high fence.  Dogs are only allowed to play with other dogs if the ’parent’ gives permission and then only if we feel the temperaments are suitable with each other.  If the pet is accustomed to a leash walk, a daily leash walk will be provided as time allows. All other times your pet will have free play in the outside play area or inside. We play frisbee and ball with the 'kids' that enjoy it.  Some just like to play keep away! 

Your pet will enjoy 24 hour soft music and also feel less anxious at night with night lights that are in the ’cottage’ area!  You might wonder who is going to have more fun, you or your pet!  Also check out our Testimonials!
